I am the sixth grade teacher at St. Ann's. I have taught here for 13 years
and I love it. I have a history with the diocese, since I went
to Corpus Christi and Saint Mark's. I later graduated from the University of
Delaware with a degree in secondary education. I live in Newark with my
husband Chris, my daughter Kaylee and son Gabriel. I was inspired to become a
teacher when I was in middle school. The teacher that drew me to this
vocation was strict but fair, and she always set high expectations for me.
She taught me a great deal about effort and perseverance. I hope I inspire my
students in the same way.
My mission is to teach the students to be better people by the end of the
year- spiritually, academically and socially. I hope that during this
process they learn a lot, while also having fun.
