Work for December 2, 3

·        Complete a full mind map for the word ‘Movement’ in your book.

·        Find at least ten images that relate to one aspect of Movement that interests you. Print these off  - you  will use them for a collage when you return.

1.     What is Futurism?

2.     When was it?

3.     What did it celebrate?

4.     What were the paintings and sculptures concerned with?

5.     List some artists involved with the group.

6.     Select two artists from this movement and find two examples of artwork from each.   Print out a clear image of each and use the following questions to write a paragraph about each:

a.       Title, date and artist

b.      What does the artwork show?

c.       Comment on the colours used, the composition and any shapes you can identify

d.      How will this influence your project?
