Modern English School
Foundation Stage 1 at MES has six classes, each named after a colour:
FS1 Red
FS1 Blue
FS1 Green
FS1 Yellow
FS1 Orange
FS1 Violet
The classrooms are situated around a central POD area which is open to all
classes and contains many different child centered areas. Foundation Stage 1
is well-resourced and offers your child a variety of enriching experiences
from water-play to individual computers. The POD is a lively, bright and
interesting environment which is well used and thoroughly enjoyed by all
children.
Children in Foundation Stage 1 are surrounded by caring and well-qualified
staff. They plan together to ensure that all children's needs are met.
Children have opportunities to learn outside in the playground and to explore
their surroundings. They take part in music and PE, which are taught by
specialist teachers.
