7:50-8:15 Teacher brings students to portable
Unpack and organize.
Morning announcements & duties:
Pledge, Attendance, Lunch count,
Morning Math, Check of Reading Log
8:15-9:45 Reading Block: Independent and Group Reading,
FCAT Reading,Skills,Fluency, Poetry,Storyworks,
Comprehension, Response Journals and more!
9:45-11:05 Language Arts: Grammar, Writing, Vocabulary
Spelling, Analogies, Cursive
11:05-11:35 Lunch
11:35-11:55 Recess/Additional PE
12:00-12:55 Specials Classes:Tech,Art,Science,Music,PEX3 in a 7 day cycle
1:00- 1:55 Math: Sunshine Math, Drops in the Bucket,
Word Problems, Skinny Concepts, Dyna-Math,
Challenge Math, FCAT Math and Star Station Math.
1:55-2:35 Science or Social Studies; may switch each midterm.
2:35-2:40 Homeroom / Announcements / Pack-Up
2:40 Dismissal for walkers, car riders in BACK area.
Dismissal for bus riders....
Students will need to walk around the front bus
loop with their class in order to board the buses.
SRC Dogtags/Stars awarded on Monday.
Success Maker Lab 10:15-10:45
each Tuesday, Thursday & Friday.
Book exchange in library
each Wednesday at 9:45-10:15.
Students are allowed to bring a personal healthy snack
(no chips,chocolate, cookies, candy, colored drinks
or soda: anything with extra sugar or caffeine )
that they are able to eat while working after the
Reading Block in the a.m., and after Specials in
the p.m. if they choose to.
