Construction Technology; 2nd Quarter, Week #7:
Count Down: Get Ready For Take Off;
Rocketry Project now in the building stage for waterless pre flights.
Objectives for pre flights include but are not limited to the following,
First and foremost importantly is the Rocketry Safety Rules and Launch Pad Procedures, Team
Development, Group Names, Leadership and Team Cooperation efforts of Captains, and Co-Pilots,
basic Rocket Design and Construction, air tight bodywork and fin development, parachute design
with successful deployment, Check out the Projects Tab for all the Details of the Rocketry
procedures and construction. May the Force be with you, Rocket Scientists, the Skies (and Your
Imagination) the Limit.
Construction Technology; 1st Quarter, Week #9:
Now Starting the Design Project 3D Model Work. Students may purchase, bring in or use various
materials, colored paper, fasteners, paints and brushes(water based only)etc. Students do not
have to buy anything at all, this is optional. Cardboard, paper and tape will be supplied to the
student. First Completers may present first too, and get started on the next project.
Exam Week: Students, In order for you to be completely prepared for the Mid Term Exam, make sure
you have at least 2, #2 new pencils, a good eraser, your calculator and your own 12" ruler,
and of course study, you may use your Construction Technology Notebook Binder as a study guide
and a reference during the Exam as well.
