1. Incorporate your 2 to 3 person team, name your team and your Captain's and co-pilots names.

2. Use the online NASA site Rocket 101 and complete the Virtual Wind Tunnel.

3. Continue and complete online NASA Prototype Design.

4. Fill out the Prototype Data Worksheet, and hand in for Grade.

5. Use an empty 2 liter plastic bottle and layout the farring, fins and nose cone according to your Data Worksheet.

6. Fin Layout: Tape a piece of paper around circumference, remove and mark in equal parts for number of fins on bottle.

7. Hot Glue all Rocket parts in place, except for the Nose Ball. be very careful not to melt the bottle!!

8. Design the parachute, Nose Ball, and your attach/detach Design and the repacking procedure.

9. Do the Center of Gravity activity formula, show all the math with Letters, do three water weights.

10. Test Flight 1, Compare and Record results to your Data Worksheet altitude results etc, analyze and modify your Design. Rocket Safety Procedures must be followed, layout Launch Pad Area.

11. Test Flight 2, Compare and Record results to your Data Worksheet altitude results etc, analyze and modify your Design, Repair and Rebuild.

12. Competition Flight for Best Overall Design and Altitude, Parachute must open and Glide Rocket Safely all the way to the ground, Safety Launch Procedures with Hand Signals, Safety Glasses Etc., Team Effort and Cooperation will also impact Final Evaluation and Grade. Try to be the Best and Play it Safe, Always!
