Roads and bridges are likely to be a priority for President-Elect Barack Obama, who has said he 
wants to "create 2 million jobs by rebuilding our crumbling roads, schools and bridges." He has 
proposed an infrastructure bank that would invest $60 billion in roads, bridges and other

The Students had a Great Time at The Construction Career Days Fair, Field Trip and Of Course 
Excelled at All the Activities, Winning Gifts and Prizes, From Making Asphalt Cookies to 
Identifying Heavy Construction Equipment to Construction Budget Analysis. (Taking First Place on 
the Computer Based West Point Engineering Bridge Contest, Budget Design, No Surprise There, 
Right? All in all it was very Educational, Well Organized, Informative, and Fun, Climbing on all 
the Heavy Construction Equipment, was a Highlight of the Day!

Many Construction Vendors / Construction Companies, Both Private and Governmental Agencies, Will 
be Displaying Cutting Edge Technology, Training Courses / Education Incentives, Careers, 
Products, both with Handout Information, Quiz and Door Prizes, and where the Kids can get Hands 
On Equipment Experience, and Meet Contacts for Jobs, Training Etc.
