12/12/09 - Saturday Morning - Join me and Mr. Gammon for an "Adopt a Highway"
clean-up effort. Meet at the Office Depot in Peppertree Plaza at 6:45AM
located on Sample Road and State Road 441. Bring 2 large trash bags and wear
sneakers. NO OPEN SHOES OR FLIP FLOPS! Service hours will be awarded. This
event will end before 8:30AM so it will not take long. Help clean up our
environment!

12/7/09 - Honors Students - You should now be working on your "hands-on"
Biology Honors Project. Remember all projects will be presented to the class
via a powerpoint presentation or I-movie. Your powerpoint presentation
should include the research you did on your topic as well as, pictures and
documents from your project. Honors projects must be completed over winter
break and are due on Tuesday, January 5, 2010. A printed copy of your
powerpoint presentation must be turned in on this day and you must be ready
to present.

that drawing, you may make your own as long as you label how energy flows in

at least 5 characteristics for each type of cell and 5 common characteristics
between them. This diagram should be drawn on a left-sided page. Use your

50 in your Biology Textbook into your Biology Notebook on a left sided page
and label "Metric Table". Over the weekend, review the Biology Notebook
Rubric I gave you detailing the requirements that will be used for grading
