Due to days out from Ida, the schedule of assignments has changed. Check with your son/daughter to get these updates.
Unfortunately our home octopus ("Harold") did not survive the long break due to Hurricane Ida. This was one of the neatest octopus I have worked with. It was very dissappointing but I think the marine students who worked with it learned a lot from it.
I am setting aside Monday afternoons for collecting for projects and labs. If anyone needs anything they need to see me and I will do my best to collect it for you.
KEY LARGO - March 21-26, 2010 - cost $675; see Mr. Bauer if interested (currently full; there is a waiting list)
ROY HYATT ENVIRONMENTAL CENTER WORK DAY - There will not be a work day during the month of Nov
WATER ACTIVITIES - we are again aloud in the water BUT all students must wear life jackets, they can not go in water over their heads, they can not snorkel, and an adult lifeguard must be present. We will not return to the Reef Project because Navarre did not get the grant - plus we can not snorkel :-)
