I've been around Latin for 8 years now (this will be my ninth year). So
I'd like to think that I know a little bit about the language. :)
I graduated from F.S.U. with a degree in Exercise Science: Fitness and
Nutrition and a minor in Latin. I taught aerobics for a year and half at the
YMCA in Tallahassee. And I loved it! I also worked as a camp director this
last summer at a small kids camp in southern Florida called Shiloh
Adventure. Needless to say, I've been in many different teaching
environments. And I am excited to serve you at Washington High School as you
learn the language of Latin (amongst other things). :) It's going to be a
good year!

To teach kids the language of Latin and how to apply it to their everyday
lives. To teach kids tools to do better in college and on standardized tests
using the language and the thought process the language creates. And of
course to have fun learning!
