****Winter Break begins December 18th and we return to school January 4th. I
hope you and your family have a peaceful and joyous holiday! See you next
year! Read! Read! Read! Remember that a book project will be due January
4th**
Common Assessments for writing, math, and science begin December 1st. Reading
F.A.I.R. will be January.
Homework has become more individualize! If a student does not pass a test
then that child will have to redo the test over the weekend. The student
MUST staple the retest to the original test for credit.
****Please note! Our school district has directed teachers to make as few
copies as possible as a cost cutting measure. Therefore, if a student loses
a paper, it WILL NOT be replaced.***
Also, Ms. Wolf will notify parents of any missing assignments by writing in
your child's agenda. Please check the agenda nightly to stay up to date with
your child's progress in school!
Our school's very own Ms. Sanchez is one the top finalist for Outstanding
Educator Award! The school district will be taping two classes for the Award
Ceremony.! Our Class has been selected as one of the classes! The crew
arrives on Tuesday, December 1st. Join me in wishing Ms. Sanchez a hearty
congratulations and hoping she is the ultimate winner!
A new system is in place to recognize good behavior choices! Every time a
student listens and follow directions, completes assignments, follows our
school guidelines for success they get a ticket. Students can purchase
classroom supplies in our "class store" using their tickets. Need a pencil?
Purchase one for two to five tickets. Notebook paper is a one ticket item.
Did your red pen run out of ink? If you have five tickets then you can
trade it for a new one.
The purpose of the "class store" is two fold. Using tickets helps students
to keep track of their on task behavior and introduces basic lessons in
economics. For example: knowing the difference between a "need" and a "Want",
supply and demand, opportunity cost, why it is important to save for a "rainy
day".
All students will use this address to access Destination:
https://destination.pinellas.k12.fl.us
Our class has a new nickname. We are the Wolves of Mrs. Wolf's Class. The
fourth grader are called the Superstars! Our grade level motto is:
S is for the super and the
U is for unique. The
P is for perfection and you know we can't be beat!
E is for EXCITED! And the
R is for read...'cause
Students
That
Are
Really
Smart...........read to succeed!
Questions or concerns? Mrs. Wolf is getting a new e-mail address! The
entire school district will be using PCSB.org e-mail. You may reach me at
