Through the Literacy Empowers All Families initiative, the Community
Foundation of Sarasota County is providing thousands of children from pre-
school through eighth grade, with the opportunity to experience the joy of
reading.
STARBOOKS is the $217,000 portion of the grant targeted at 6th,7th and 8th
grade students. All eight Sarasota County middle schools are actively
involved in STARBOOKS.
STARBOOKS is a comprehensive reading initiative targeting sixth,seventh, and
eighth grade. Ask your child to share their book with you!
