We are part of the Broward County's Region 8 HOSA and are affiliated with
Florida HOSA and National HOSA.
Our meetings are on hold from March due to FCAT and Spring Break.

COURSE SELECTIONS - NEWS Health Science 2 has received HONORS Designation for
2008-2009 school year across Region 8 / Broward County Schools. Allied Heatlh
Assisting 3 is already designated as HONORS at Coral Glades.

Service hours can be earned through helping with our National
Philanthropy "AUTISM SPEAKS". Check out the website

Service hours can be earned through volunteering for the preparation of the
Blood Drives - OUR LAST BLOOD DRIVE HAS BEEN APPROVED FOR APRIL 30! Remember
that 40 service hours is the minimum for graduation and going for the silver
cord requires 250 hours, so come on by and volunteer your time.

Annual dues are $30.00 ( $10.00 for National, $10 for State, $5.00 for
Region
8/Broward County ) and $5.00 is allocated toward our Coral Glades High
School

For HOSA's State and National Service Project "AUTISM SPEAKS", HOSA members
at CGHS will be selling Krispy Kreme donuts on Wednesday's and Thursday's
after school for 50cents a piece and donating $100.00 to our HOSA STATE
ADVISOR,Lloyd Devault in his bikathon to raise money and awareness for this
cause. We are also having a "Penny Drive" in March from the 16th through
the 25th. BRING ALL CHANGE AND ENCOURAGE DONATIONS TO THIS WONDERFUL CAUSE!

WE ARE VERY PROUD TO HAVE THE 2007- 2008 STATE THEME AWARDED TO CORAL GLADES
HIGH SCHOOL. Julia Ladisa, CGHS HOSA member, created and submitted this
theme. Over 8,500 Florida Members had the opportunity to participate in this
competition and we are very proud of Julia.
