PLANS FOR THIS YEAR:
- Participate in VivaBroward festival and HispanicFest
- Valentine's Day grams in Spanish
- Hispanic Heritage Month activities
- Fieldtrip to music performance
COMPLETED PROJECTS FROM 2008-2009:
- Candy Sale (October): $450 profit
- Charity Basket (December): Collection of food and toys donated to local Hispanic family
- Club T-shirts: Designed our own t-shirts for SHS
- FCAT Saturday Camp: Donated $50 for snacks for students
- Relay for Life (April): Raised $500 to fight cancer
- Books for children in Honduras (April): Will donate $200 to buy books
- Posters: members promoted Hispanic Heritage and World Languages by creating beautiful posters that were hung in hallways
COMPLETED PROJECTS FROM 2007-2008:
- Car Wash (October): We raised $300!
- Candy Sale (December): Sold Christmas lollipops for profit of $280
- Charity Basket (December): Collection of food and toys for local Hispanic family
- Car Wash (April): We raised another $250!
- Well-planned induction ceremony at CSHS and dessert for families
