Make  20 flash cards for ch. 5 (invertebrates only!!!!) and show it to your instructor the day you return.

OR

Complete all of the Marine Science in the Real World questions for Chapter 5 and turn these in when 
you return.

Please make a note on the top of the sheet pertaining to which assignment you are making up.

Remember to have all absences excused!!!!!! Having an UNexcused absence will result in a grade of zero.


If you will be out most of this week or you have missed the Squid Dissection, you must conduct research using
the Internet and the book to find out about crustaceans.
What I am looking for:
1. Tell me which kingdom, phylum, order, and class squid belong to.
2. Tell me how squid are different from other mollusks.
3. List three evolutionary adaptations that cephalopods have that helps them survive.
4. Explain the what enables squid to change color.
5. Name four examples of mollusks.

Write your answers up in a 2 page double spaced essay and turn it in electronically through my email address.
