| Dear Family,
Welcome to Daniel Jenkins Academy of Technology! I am looking forward to a
successful year in mathematics. To meet our students' needs, we have chosen
a program that will prepare them for future challenges and successes in
math.
The most important motivation needed for success is a student's desire to
learn and succeed. When educators and families work as a team, we can
insure that children are presented with every opportunity to do so. To
initiate this process, we will begin our first week by discussing ways to be
successful in math. From our classroom discussions, your child, and his/her
classmates will develop our behavior and grade policies for this school
year.
One of my goals, as your son/daughter's educator, is to build a partnership
with home and school. Through this partnership, we can work together to
pool our knowledge, experiences, and resources for the betterment of our
students.
As we work through our curriculum this year, I welcome your suggestions and
