I'm a southern girl, born in Georgia and then moved south to the Space
Coast with my family. I attended school in North Brevard County and am a
graduate of Astronaut High School, Brevard Community College, and the
University of Central Florida. In addition, I am a Nationally Board
Certified Teacher. I've been blessed to be teaching at Enterprise since we
opened in 1994. This is my 21st year teaching, and my 17th in third grade.
The picture above is of Lucy, our 3 year old King Charles Cavalier Spaniel.
She keeps our golden lab Sandy company. My hobbies are sewing, crocheting,
baking, reading, enjoying time with my family. This year I got a "Book Nook"
color and have it filled with all my favorite books. My husband and I have
three grown children. Our youngest daughter lives in Richmond Virginia and
our son is serving in the Air Force. He and his wife live on Dover Air Force
Base and are expecting our first grandchild this fall. Our oldest daughter is
a photographer and is a student at SCAD in Savannah Georgia. As you can see
they are all along the Atlantic Coast and my husband and I will be traveling
north to see them throughout the year.
Knowledge is a treasure.....but practice is the key to it!
