Expectations

Below are the class rules that my students are expected to follow. This chart also explains the rewards and consequences that will result from your child’s choices in the classroom. It is extremely important that you support this behavior system by following up at home with BOTH positive and negative reinforcement.

 

Class Rules

 

1. Listen while the teacher is talking.


2. Follow directions quickly.


3. Control your voice level.


4. Stay in your seat/area.


5. Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself.


6. Complete class work.


7. Follow lunchroom and playground rules.

 

Consequences

1st infraction will be a warning. Student is asked to “think about it”.


2nd infraction is teacher’s choice. The teacher will choose an appropriate consequence.


3rd infraction will warrant parent contact.


Excessive or repeated negative behavior will be addressed by administration.
