This is my third year with Garden Elementary. I have had the great fortune of
being able to grow with my students by following them to the next grade level
each year. This allows me to maximize their growth on the path to academic
success.
I received my undergraduate degree in Speech Communication and English from
the University of Rhode Island. I also hold a Master of Arts in Teaching from
Johnson and Wales University. My certifications are in the areas of Elementary
Education and Exceptional Student Education. I am currently pursuing a
certification to teach students who are English Speakers of Other Languages.
I believe that ALL students (regardless of their learning challenges) are
equal, they just learn differently.
Our mission for the class is a simple one...to instill in all students that
every great accomplishment starts with "I'll try."
