OUR PHILOSOPHY
Founded in 1956, as a ministry of Grace Lutheran Church of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, we promote academic excellence through a strong partnership between home, school, and church. The Christian education that we share embraces all aspects of a child's development from preschool through eighth grade. It is our mission to provide a stimulating environment for intellectual, physical, social, spiritual, emotional, and artistic growth. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, Grace Lutheran School strives to create disciples for Christ. We are blessed to be able to nurture the relationship of our students and their families with our loving Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

PRESCHOOL AND PREKINDERGARTEN PROGAMS
Grace Lutheran School offers a curriculum designed to build a strong academic foundation. Beginning in Preschool, our children learn to discover a world that lies beyond home. The Preschool Center designs activities to help your child develop a positive learning experience. Activities are in the context of fun and are interactive to meet your child's needs.

VOLUNTEER PREKINDERGARTEN
We are pleased to announce that Grace Lutheran School has been qualified to provide a V.P.K. (Voluntary Prekindergarten) program. The program allows a parent to enroll his or her eligible child (four years old by September 1, and residing in Florida) in a free V.P.K. program. It places no limit on the number of children served by each provider, and it is each provider's decision of how many children to serve. The V.P.K. program began in the 2005-2006 school term. To acquire more information about the program or to enroll your child, you may pre-apply for the VPK program at http://www.vpkflorida.org. Parents are encouraged to check that Website periodically for updates. Florida law prohibits V.P.K. providers from discriminating against children or their parents on the ground of race, color, or national origin, including the refusal to admit a child to the VPK program.

KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM
The Kindergarten program incorporates phonics, motor skills, spatial relationship, physical fitness, and the arts for a wonderful and exciting first year.
