All students are required to complete their assignments in cursive.  However, I do understand some students lack practice in cursive writing and they will be provided with time.  By the beginning of the second nine weeks, which is at the end of October, all students will be required to complete all assignments in cursive.  Until then, they may write in print.  The only assignment that MUST be in cursive from the beginning of the school year is the 3x’s each home learning assignment for the spelling words. Each student received the cursive alphabet on the first day of school and should keep it in their home learning folder for reference.
