The mission for our class is to create well-rounded students who are prepared
for THEIR future. The world in which our children will live as adults will
be very different than what we know. Our children must be prepared to live
in a technologically advanced society, one we can barely imagine at this
point! Students must learn to be flexible and work as problem solvers and
creative learners, rather than "memorizers" of information. They must know
how to search out needed information and then apply that information to their
current circumstances. Finally, and I feel most importantly, students must
be taught to be good citizens - of their families, their classrooms, their
communities, their country, and the world! Happy Learning!
