Spirit Week Schedule

 

The Week of March 24 – 27  is Highland Oaks Middle School’s 9th annual Spirit Week. During this week many fun filled activities will be taking place. Please make sure that you encourage your students (as well as yourself) to participate in the activities for the week. Review this list of activities daily with your homeroom class to ensure proper attire and procedures. The following is the week at a glance.

 

Monday                     70’s Day

                                    Wear your favorite 70’s outfit

 

Tuesday                    Twin / Favorite Duo Day

                                    Dress alike with your friend or as Romeo and Juliet

 

Wednesday              Wacky Wednesday

                                    Wear your clothes and accessories backwards,

                                    inside-out, or not matching. You choose, because

                                    it’s a Wacky Day! Schedule (HR, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1)

 

Thursday                  Field Day 11:30 – 3:30

                                    Wear your team t-shirt, shorts, and sneakers. Bring

                                    $$$ for lunch, snacks, and drinks. Bring Sun screen

                                    and wear a hat. No bookbags!! If you do not wear a

                                    Team t-shirt, you can not participate. (T-shirt must not be

altered).

 

Friday                        No School (Teacher Planning Day)

 

If students choose not to participate in the designated day’s activity, they must wear their school uniform. General dress code rules apply: knee length shorts, no backless shoes, no halter tops, no mid-driffs, no see through clothing, no sleeveless tops, no chains, metal objects or spikes on clothing, and appropriate length skirts.
