Mr. Rothberg, Highland Oaks Middle Rookie Teacher of the Year for 2005-06,
enjoys working with students and parents to ensure student success. Mr.
Rothberg is also one of four finalists for Social Studies Teacher of the Year
for Miami-Dade schools.
Prior to HOMS, Mr. Rothberg spent the past five years as Director of School
Bus Routing for M-DCPS. Mr. Rothberg spent 17 years as an Administrator in
School Transportation prior to becoming a teacher.
"This has been a great year for me and I am looking forward to the coming
school year."
To enlighten all students on the importance of Civics and provide students
with the tools become good citizens and be involved in government affairs.
