How is artwork graded?
Artwork is graded based on the following criteria:
1. Did the student follow directions
2. Did the student turn the project in on time
3. Did the student turn in neat and understandable work (craftsmanship)
4. Was the student creative (work was not similar to other student's work)

Do I need to bring my sketchbook everyday?
Yes, the sketchbook is not only used for drawing but also to write
vocabulary, answer journal questions, etc.. Therefore, even though the
sketchbook is only graded on Friday's, students need to have it in class
daily. Student's should have a sketchbook that fits comfortably in their
bookbags.

Is there a material's fee for art class?
Yes, each student must pay $2.00 at the beginning of the year. This fee is
used to help purchase art supplies.
