Buying a Home Robot
The year is 2051 an you and your family live in a modern earth home equipped
with the latest in computer technology. As you walk to the kitchen for your
morning coffee, you notice the red light on the HCEM (Home Computer
Electronic Mail) is flashing. This means something that interests you has
arrived. You quickly check your mail and discover that Sears has finally put
robots on sale! Just last week you programmed the HCEM to let you know if
any robots were on sale for under $1,000.00 and today Sears has one for
$999.00 that can do any household human job. You quickly place your order
and wait three seconds while the money is transferred from your bank to
Sears. Your order has now been confirmed and the robot will be delivered
tomorrow. But wait…..here’s a message from Sears’ Robot Department:
