My career path has taken me into several areas. My past accomplishments have
been as a business owner, psychotherapist, and currently as a teacher. In 1992
I returned to graduate school and obtained a Masters degree in Clinical
Psychology at Antioch University in Los Angeles. After completing graduate
school I worked in the mental health field for ten years.I moved to Miami in
1998 and continued in the mental health field at a local hospital and in a
private practice. I began substitute teaching three years ago and found that I
could assist students in a positive manner. I work in an inclusion classroom
setting primarily which allows me to work on a more individual level with
students. I also teach a Langage Arts special education class.
To give ALL students the opportunity to express themselves, and to have access
to the best education they receive.
