*Identify the system and the surroundings *Careful…remember the system is the

*What assumptions are made when interpreting heat loss data?
*List possible sources of systematic error? How did each effect the final 
value calculated for the heat of the reaction?
*List an improvement for each source of systematic error.
*What are applications of this concept in the real world?
