..........A FEW NOTES ABOUT PROMOTION ATTIRE..........
Students are expected to dress appropriately for the Promotion Ceremony.
Please be sure to follow the Student Code of Conduct Dress Code.
GIRLS may wear a dress or a blouse with dress pants or a skirt. Flip-flops,
backless shoes, or heels that are too high are not appropriate as the students
will need to walk across the stage.
BOYS may wear a suit, collared shirt or button down dress shirt, dress slacks,
or khakis, with a dress shoe or a dark tied sneaker. Pants must be secured
with a belt if needed.
Team jerseys, tanks/spaghetti straps tops, jeans, sneakers and flip-flops are
not appropriate for this special occasion.
Students should arrive between 5:45 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. to sign in and report
to the HCE Cafeteria with their teacher.
Parents may proceed to the HCPAC at 6:00 p.m. to be seated. Please do not sit
in any areas that are reserved with signs and tape.
Students and faculty will sit in the front rows of the auditorium.
It is very important that all baby strollers be parked in the back of the
auditorium as students will enter through a formal procession down both aisles.
IF STUDENTS ARRIVE LATE, they will be UNABLE TO PARTICIPATE in the
processional, which will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m. Late parents will also
need to remain in the HCPAC lobby until the processional has ended.
The PTA will sponsor a reception for the students in the lobby of the HCPAC
immediately following the ceremony. The reception will include cookies and
punch.
