PARENT MEETING: WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 24th, 2011, 7:00PM
NO KINDERGARTEN CHILDREN, PLEASE!

Dear Kindergarten Parents,
Welcome to Holy Family Catholic School! I want to give you some information
regarding the first few weeks of school. Below you will find a time
schedule for Weeks 1 and 2. All medical records MUST be in the office before
your child can come to the classroom. If these medical records are not in by
Monday, August 22nd, unfortunately you will be requested to take your child
home. (It’s a law!) So please be sure all your records are in the school
office on or before Monday, August 22nd.
On Monday, August 22nd, please bring your child to the school lunchroom. Each child’s name tag will be on a table. Help your child locate his/her name tag. I am asking that all parents plan to stay with their child in the lunchroom until all the kindergartners have arrived. At that time I will gather the
children and we will go into the classroom as a group and “wave” goodbye to you!
Please meet us at the flagpole at the designated dismissal time the first
week of school.
Please bring your child to the lunchroom each day the first week of school.
We will discuss the arrival and dismissal procedures at our Kindergarten
Parent Meeting.
The schedule below outlines what materials should be brought in on what
day. Please adhere to this! It’s too confusing to have all the items brought
in the first day.
You will need to provide a snack each day for your child. Please be sure it is separate from your child’s lunch box. I will provide a snack on the first day of school. Please do not send a drink for snack. We have a water fountain in the classroom.

Monday, August 22nd: 7:40-11:30
(Supply Box with supplies only)
--PLEASE sharpen the 5 pencils! NO more than 5 please!
--2 large pencil erasers (no pencil tops, please)
--2 boxes of crayons--8 count-standard colors only)
--1 scissors
--3 large glue sticks
Tuesday, August 23rd: 7:40-11:30

--1 large box of kleenex
Wednesday, August 24th: 7:40-11:30
--Rest Mat and Towel
PARENT MEETING: 7:00PM (No children, please)
NOTE: You may bring the Rest Mat and Towel with you to the parent meeting if you'd like
Thursday, August 25th: 7:40-2:55 (First Full day)
****LUNCH WITH DRINK No food/drink may be purchased
Friday, August 26th: 7:40-2:55
LUNCH WITH DRINK No food/drink may be purchased today
Monday-Friday August 29th-September 2nd: Full Days
(Please send a lunch and drink with your child this first full week of school)
