Most of my students tell
me that receiving their sacraments is the most memorable part of being in
second grade! This is a very special year for our students, and I hope to help
you through the process so that it is as special to you as it is to your
child. Along with Mrs. Johnston and Mrs. Dawkins, I will keep you informed of
upcoming parent meetings, student classes, and rehearsals. This webpage will
be updated with dates, and if those dates happen to change, I will post that
information here as well. I encourage you and your family to consider this
second grade year the most important year for attending weekly liturgies
together, and try to sit up close so that your child has a close view of what
is happening during the various parts of the Mass.
The 2012 Sacrament Dates
are:
First Reconciliation
Changed to: Saturday, February 25th
First Eucharist: May 19th
and May 20th - You will have a parent meeting in February or March to select
the Mass you prefer.
Parent Meeting dates for the sacraments will be posted
here when announced. Flyers and emails will be shared as well, and we will
also add the dates to the events calendar for 2nd grade.
