for each child to bring to school.
*Personal coin
sets. 20 pennies, 5 nickels, 10 dimes and 4 quarters. We will have "play
money" handy, but responsible 2nd graders can bring in authentic or "real"
coins. These should be contained in a zipper bag.
*A clean, old sock to use for personal
white board wipers. Finally, a use for the lonely sock who lost its mate!

In second grade we will be storing
our empty backpacks in the classroom cubbies, so they need to be able to fold

ROLLING BACK PACKS:
If a doctor prescribes a
rolling backpack, it is to be a size that the student can handle; rolling
backpacks must be carried up and down the stairs. Student
must also observe safety measures when rolling it inside and outside school.
