Welcome to 1 - P!
In Math we are learning about patterns. In Language Arts we are focusing on writing a friendly letter. In Science we have finished learning about Weather and Season, and are moving onto the Natural Resources we get from the Earth.
The Flower Garden is really growing beautifully. Some of the wildflowers we planted before vacation are blooming, and it is interesting to see how some of the plants that we thought were not doing well before vacation are coming back with beautiful blooms. The sunflowers are growing tall and look like they are going to bloom any day!

Please make a note of out change in lunch policy at JSA:
Respect for our bodies - Respect for the planet - Respect for each other!
Starting in October, Jacobson Sinai Academy is changing the way we lunch. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays will be meat and parve days. Tuesdays and Thursdays will be dairy days. Every day will be a healthy eating day. When you pack your child's lunch, please think about what's healthy for their growing bodies, what's good for the planet, and what's respectful of the friends in their class who keep kosher or are vegetarian or vegan.
