Announcements small medium large SCIENCE 1/5/2010 Lesson 7 Test will be on Monday 1/11/10. The package is due on Wednesday 1/6. Students wrote the assignmets in their planners. International Day is January 26th. 3L will represent BELGIUM! Please send in any information, maps, pictures that you might have of this country. Happy, Healthy New Year to Everyone! SAVE THE DATE!!! The Third Grade play will be on Friday, February 19th, 2010. We are all looking forwart to it! SCIENCE: 12/7/09 We began Lesson 7 this week. All students received a package and were given specific directions on how and when to complete it. They all know that studying is part of each day's assignment. Social Studies: (from: Mrs. Nadler) In January, our Social Studies classes will be researching Jewish Heroes. Your student will be receiving direction to support the requirements. Later in the month, each student will present his or her hero. Costumes for the presentation are encouraged! RECYCLING PROJECTS!!! The 3rd grade team is collecting OLD batteries and Capri Sun drink pouches for recycling. Please support our effort, and send them with your student. On Fridays the schedule allows us to have snack in the morning. The students are allowed to bring something for the whole class to nosh. Please make sure you send in enough for 17 children. Each student will be expected to write his/her assignments on their planner and to check the chart daily. Long term assignments and special test dates will be posted on this page. Upcoming Important Dates: Nov. 25- 1:00 dismissal (erev Thanksgiving) Our goal this school year is to empower the students to take responsibility for their work and their behavior.
