The introduction paragraph gives three reasons for your answer

Example: There are many foods that taste scrumptious but my favorite food is
fried chicken. I love fried chicken because it reminds me of when I was young,
I like the way the fried skin feels in my mouth, and the taste is outrageous.

The 2nd paragraph or first body paragraph only talks about the first reason

First, let me tell you why it reminds me of when I was young. My mother use
to make fried chicken every Friday night. Our family would sit down together
and talk for hours over fried chicken. We would laugh till we cried, tell
stories and even make jokes. I always loved spenidng that time with my
family. It seemed as if nothing else mattered. No matter what problems the
amily or world was facig that week Fridays and fried chicken made them go
away.

The 3rd paragraph ONLY tells about your 2nd reason:

Fried chicken is also my favorite food because I like the fried skin on it.
Ther are many ways to cook chicken but none have the crispy crust on it. When
I get fried chicken I slowly cut the skin off. Then I collect it all on the
side of my plate. Last, I wait till after I eat the chicken itself and save
the skin for last. I love the way it crunches and crackles in my mouth. It is
delightful in my tummy.

The 4th paragraph or third body paragraph only tells about your 3rd reason

the lastand best reason why fried chicken is the perfect meal is its perfect
flavor. If the seasoning is just right it melts in your mouth like cotton
candy. You can taste the flavor throughout the entire piece of chicken and it
is a little slice of heaven.

The CONCLUSION paragraph wraps up and ends the entire story

I hope I have explained for you why fried chicken is the best meal. There are
so many reasons but my three biggest are that it reminds me of when I was
young, its scrumptious skin, and its perfect flavor. Why dont you go and try
some yourself?

How do I write an introduction paragraph to a NARRATIVE (story) essay

You begin by writing an opening sentence that tells the reader what the STORY
is about.

There are many times in my life I have been proud. The one that I am the
most proud of is when I graduated from college.

Whats my next step for the introduction paragraph

I then add 2-3 visual sentences to create a setting for the story.

I remember that it was a hot, and sunny Florida day with a blue sky and white
puffy clouds. I could hear the hum of the air conditioner in my car and the
sound of the tires moving on the road.

What do I add to it next.

It is important to add the main character(s) as well.
My mother, father, sister and younger borther were all there to watch me walk
across the stage and recieve my diploma.

What is my final step in the introudtcion paragraph?

The final step is to add the "hook" or something that catches the
readers
attention and sets them up for the story to come.

As we pulled into the College parking lot I remembered how much work it took
to get there and all the four years that I spent studying. Now I knew that it
was time to put it all to work but first I would have to give a speech to my
class of 100 students.
