I have always had an excitement for learning. Even as a kid, I enjoyed
touring
art museums, traveling around the country, or exploring nature. As time
passed, I quickly realized that a desire to learn makes life more interesting
and more so, it does not have to be boring!
In 2006, I graduated from Southeastern University with honors and earned a BS
in secondary English education and two minors: theater and Bible. Throughout
those four years, I was heavily involved with the creative arts. Being in
theatrical productions like To Kill A Mockingbird, Camelot, The Hiding Place,
Fiddler On the Roof, and leading the poetry club, The Oracle, fashioned me to
develop a strong love for literature. In addition to the arts, I was also
apart of two academic societies Kappa Delta Pi and Alpha Chi.
Even though Florida is a wonderful place to live, Shelby Township, Michigan
(30 minutes outside of Detroit) is where I still call home. Go Pistons!
However, during the winter, I am definitely missing the Florida sunshine!
To engage, equip, and educate through constructive and creative lessons for
future learning.
