She has helped tremendously with getting my observation classroom ready for

Meet the super students of Mrs. Vensko's Second Grade Class at
Laurel Hill School in Laurel Hill, Florida! Mrs. Vensko LOVES her class!
We had a blast at our Christmas celebration! Thank you to ALL
family members who helped to make this such a special day for the students!
A very special thank you to the following parents who volunteered their time
to help with our Christmas Craft Day: Mrs. Joy, Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Davis, and
Mrs. Hatfield! We greatly appreciate your generous donations and your
help! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
If you didn't already know, Mrs. Vensko LOVES Gingerbread Men!
For a fun Christmas activity, the students took home a blank Gingerbread Man
and were asked to disguise him from the sly fox. Check out the pictures
below and try to guess what the Gingerbread Men were dressed up as! Click on
the picture to see the name of the Gingerbread!
We had a blast learning all about pumpkins as plants! Check out
the pictures below of our pumpkin investigation!
We "CHEWS" great behavior in Mrs. Vensko's 2nd Grade! For every
compliment that we earn as a whole class, we add one gumball to the
machine. We filled up the entire gumball machine within the first month of
school! WOW! Mrs. Vensko is VERY proud of us! As a class, we voted to
have popsicles as our special reward! Check out the pictures below to see
how delicious they were!

come to school dressed up as a favorite book character. Here are pictures

Here are some pictures from our Thanksgiving Reader's Theater
performance! We performed The ABC's of the First Thanksgiving to the
kindergarten, first, and third grade classes! We learned so many
interesting facts about the first Thanksgiving and at the same time we
practiced reading with fluency and expression!
