OBSERVATION CLASSROOM
This is my third year as part of the Observation Classroom Program at Laurel Hill School. Observation Classroom teachers receive special training, support from the literacy coach, and supplies in order to implement the many components of the Okaloosa County Comprehensive Literacy Model (balanced literacy) in their classrooms. As a third year Observation Classroom teacher, my areas of focus will be the following: Reader's Workshop, along with a continuing focus on Writer's workshop.
Throughout the school year, I will be working very closely with our wonderful literacy coach, Greer Graumlich. Visitors throughout our county will be invited to share in our learning experiences during the school year. I look forward to an exciting yet challenging new school year!
If you are an employee in Okaloosa County Schools and would like to visit our observation classroom, please contact my literacy coach, Greer Graumlich at the following email address to schedule a visit. All visitations must be approved through her.
