Each year your PTO provides $10,000 toward your child’s agenda book, classroom magazines, programs for the arts, and DARE. We help fund student allocation dollars, Renaissance rewards, and much, much more! In addition, your contributions from Donations and Fund Raising have supported the following:
2008-2009 $20,000 for Writers Program (responsible for our terrific FCAT scores); class technology; landscaping; the Autistic Unit; and AR rewards & incentives for classes and Media Center.
2007-2008 $23,000 for technology (digital cameras and Dell computers); landscaping the front of school; rewards and incentives; LNS school spirit folders and activities; and the Lightning Lounge.
2006-2007 $20,000 for elementary playground canopy; 16 Avervision visual presenters; A/R and math rewards; Motor Room and toys for Autistic unit.
2005-2006 $26,000 for technology, band uniforms, flags, and keyboard.
2004-2005 $15,000 for mobile laptop stations (15 laptops).
2003-2004 $20,000 for new books in the Media Center.
2001-2003 $25,000 for new elementary playground.
