On Thursday, October 27, 2011, MHR will be showing its support for those touched by cancer, especially our own cancer survivor, Mrs. Malinowski. Once again, she will be participating in the Susan G. Komen 3-Day Walk for the Cure, a 60-mile walk for women and men who want to make a difference in the fight against breast cancer. In honor of this feat, students will be allowed to wear pink socks and/or pink hair ribbons in addition to the normal school uniform.
Also, for Halloween on Monday, October 31, 2011, middle school students will be allowed to wear jeans, a solid fall-colored shirt, and a "crazy hat".
