Who is with my child all day long? Does she have a family? What does she like
to do when not at school?
Well, I was born and raised in Louisiana. I attended LSU in Eunice and
graduated from McNesse State University with my degree in Education being
certified to teach 1st through 8th grade. I have taught in public and
catholic schools in Louisiana. I returned to school to become certified in
kindergarten and I am very happy with my decision. My wonderful husband and I
have three beautiful daughters, Danyelle, Brittni, and Natalie. We moved to
Tampa in 1997. I was blest to find this great school. This is my 25th year
teaching and my 15th year here at MHR. My daughters attended MHR, then the
two older girls attended Tampa Catholic, and our youngest attended Bishop
McLaughlin Catholic HS. Danyelle was the other MHR K teacher for 6 weeks
until my grandson, Austin, now 4yrs old, decided he really needed his mommie.
My daughter and son-in-law now have a lovely girl, Callie Jane, named after
her 2 great-great grandmothers, Callie and Jane. Brittni graduated from
Jacksonville University with her BSN and works as a RN at Cedar Sinai
Hospital in Beverly Hills, CA. Natalie has attended college on academic and
volleyball scholarships. She is now at JU following in her sister's footsteps
in the nursing program. I love spending time with my family at Busch Gardens,
Disney, or just at home.
