The 2011-2012 school year is my seventh with Most Holy Redeemer. As the
Media Specialist I have the pleasure of teaching Literacy and Research Skills
to every age in the school - from Kindergarten through 8th grade. This will
also be my fourth year teaching Social Studies to our Middle School.
My undergraduate degree is in Finance from the University of Florida and my
masters degree is in Library and Information Sciences from the University of
South Florida. I hold teaching certifications in Elementary Education (K-6),
Media Specialist (K-12), and Social Studies (6-12).
I have three children, two who have graduated from MHR after attending all
nine years, and a son in 7th grade. My oldest daughter is continuing at the
University of Florida this fall, and my second daughter is a senior at
Bishop McLaughlin Catholic High School. MHR is a wonderful and
blessed place, providing the very best in Catholic education. I am looking
forward to another great year!
My mission for Social Studies is to share with the students my love of
history and geography in an effort to make them more responsible and educated
citizens.
