Parents,
It is very important that each student is in school on the test days in order to take the Iowa
Tests of Basic Skills (ITBS) in the most positive testing environment possible. Also, it is
important that each student has a good night's rest and a good breakfast to start off each
testing day. Pleases reassure your children that they cannot fail these tests, but they should
strive to do their best in order to achieve valid scores that are a true reflection of their
achievement and ability.
Each testing day, students need two (2) #2 pencils and reading material such as an AR book.
Please send a bottle of water and a healthy snack to school on testing days. Thank you for your
