SESSION 2 OF THE AFTERSCHOOL ART ENRICHMENT PROGRAM WILL BE HELD FROM JANUARY 26 THROUGH MARCH 15. SEE MS. NANCY FOR DETAILS.
ATTENTION MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS!
We will be going on a multi-curricular Field Trip on Dec. 1 to The Customs House Museum. We will leave school at Noon and return before the end of the day. The Education Coordinator will be coming to school to speak to the children ahead of time about the many historical features of the building and the current exhibits. Besides the incredible Art that is offered, there are also exhibits showing the History of Key West including our own Convent of St. Mary's. This will be the FIRST THURSDAY AFTER WE RETURN FROM THANKSGIVING BREAK!!! WE NEED ALL PERMISSION SLIPS RETURNED BEFORE THEN OR YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND!!!

Our AfterSchool Art Enrichment Program is off to a GREAT start! We are doing some FUN projects and have plans for many more! There is STILL time to join-please see Ms. Nancy for details.
WELCOME TO THE WONDERFUL WORLD OF ART!
I am SO happy to see all of my BRIGHT, TALENTED returning students and am anxious to meet all of the new ones!
We will be dabbling in many different Art Forms and Styles. I will also be getting input from the children to find out what they are interested in pursuing. In addition to many 'hands-on' projects, we will be learning about Art History and Famous Artists, both past and present.
Besides our weekly classes, there will be several exhibitions throughout the year where the families and the public can view the children's creations, including our annual "Santa's Art Shop" and our popular "From Our Souls" show which will be held in a local Art Gallery.
I look forward to an exciting year filled with information and imagination!
