ATTENTION 6TH, 7TH, & 8TH GRADE STUDENTS & PARENTS!!!
We will be painting a large mural on the barricade walls of the new "Silver Palms Resort" (the former El Rancho Motel ) construction site on Truman Avenue (a block from St. Mary's Church). Our project was originally scheduled to begin November 19th and Permission Slips have gone home. However, we first have to receive approval of our design from the owners & the city. Therefore, the actual start date of the project will be at a future time.
This is sure to be a FUN & EXCITING Art in Public Places project! It is a great opportunity to showcase our talented students to the community!

The 6th, 7th & 8th Grade started the "Silver Palms" mural during Catholic Schools Week. They did a WONDERFUL job in a very short period of time! This will be an ongoing project and we will, hopefully, be approved for more panels in the future. Please go by the worksite on Truman Avenue to monitor our progress and see the great work our students are doing!
