Mrs. Beth Kilroe has been teaching at Mary Immaculate Star of the Sea School
for 22 years.She taught 3rd grade for 6 years and has taught 4th grade for 16
years.
Mrs. Kilroe was born in Boston, Ma. and lived there until she moved with her
family to Maine. She graduated from Freeport High School and then she
attended the University of Maine at Orono and received a BA in Political
Science/Internationl Affairs. Mrs. Kilroe moved to Key West in search of the
sun.
She then chose to return to college to study education. Mrs. Kilroe took
classes from Nova University, FIU, Keys Community College, and the University
of Maine on a graduate level. Mrs. Kilroe is currently certified in K-6th
grade Elementary and 6-12th Social Studies in the State of Florida.
The mission for the fourth grade is to develop and guide each student to be a
successful learner and a child of faith.
