Can my child bring in a treat for the class on their birthday?
Yes, but it must be a healthy store purchased, unopened product.
No Cookies,
No Cupcakes,
No Candy!
A healthy snack and Capree Sun Drinks are recommended.
As of now, we have 23 students in our class.
When my child returns to school after being absent, do they need a note?
Yes, to recieve an excused absence the teacher must be notified
of the reason for the absence by email, phone call, or hand
written note signed by the child's parent or guardian. Otherwise,
the absence will be recorded as an unexcused absence.
Do students planners need to be signed each evening?
Yes, it is part of each students homework to have their student
planners initialed each evening at the bottom of the homework
agenda for that day by the student's parent or guardian. I check
and initial the student's planner at the bottom of the agenda on
Fridays. This is a good place to include any note to me or for me
to include a note for the parent or guardian.
How do I schedule a conference with the teacher?
Send in a written request and I will respond with a choice of
days and times.
I am availiable most mornings from 7:30-8:00am except Wednesdays
as we have faculty meetings on Wednesday mornings.
