Welcome to OHLS Spanish.  Señora Libby teaches grades 1 - 5 using a thematic unit curriculum designed to reinforce vocabulary acquisition in an immersion environment.  Students in elementary school have Spanish class twice a week which involves language instruction and a variety of other topics including the culture and geography of the Spanish speaking world.  For specific information about each grade level or to visit our picture and video gallery, see the side bar options on this page.  Parents are encouraged to visit and experience the "Spanish only" classroom!

   Mrs. Wharton's class presents  "Ricitos de oro y los tres osos."
    Mrs. Edwards's class presents "Los tres cochinos."
   Mr. Harding's class presents "Caperucita roja."

ECLC Spanish classes are taught by Señora Edge who sees each preschool class twice a week.  Preschool students will learn numbers, colors, parts of their bodies, clothing, food, and common expressions by playing games, singing songs, and working in thematic units.  A TPRS (story telling) curriculum is used in pre-kindergarten beginning with The Three Bears.  You can contact Señora Edge by email at: ledge@oakhall.org
