Do I have to check my childs planner daily?

Yes, it is important that you look in your childs planner everyday. I use the

to and from home daily.

How long should my child read at night?

By 5th grade students should be reading grade appropriate books. All students have the IRL and should be Reading within that range. Reading everynight will build your childs stamina when taking long
reading test.

Is late homework accepted

No. In 5th grade I try to teach my students to take responsibility for their
words, actions, and materials. Therefore, students are responsible for
bringing their homework to and from school on a daily basis. Family
emergencies are excused.
