Course Policies and Procedures
In order to maintain an optimal learning environment for all students it is
important that you show respect for the teacher, the other students and
yourself. The guidelines for Academic Honesty and the rules outlined in both
the IMG and Pendleton handbooks are followed at all times. It is especially
important to be on time and prepared for every class. Please bring your
laptop, notebook and school supplies to each class.
Keeping current in your assignments is crucial. Notify me in advance of your
absence and we will work to complete your assignments before you depart, if
possible. You are to monitor your own progress and arrange
for additional help or enrichment as needed.
The course framework will be your computer text, Virtual Sage. This basic
tool will be enriched with numerous supplemental materials, including, but
not limited to, worksheets, oral exercises, supplemental readings and
compositions, both directed and free style. Our goal for Semster I is to
complete Modules 1 & 2 and to be working with the material (including
supplemental) in Module 3 at the time of the final exam.
